The mission of the Chelan-Douglas Coalition for Health Improvement (CHI) is to foster authentic community engagement, create an ongoing pathway for gathering input from diverse groups of community members, and identify local projects that could support the overall goals of the Medicaid Transformation Project.

The Chelan-Douglas CHI is made up of different organizations who use the voice and needs of the community to work on improving the overall health of individuals in Chelan and Douglas counties. This is done by focusing on the social determinants of health, such as transportation and access to nutritional foods.
